About WVOTA

The West Virginia Occupational Therapy Association (WVOTA) is the only association that represents the interests of OT practitioners and students living, working, and/or studying in the state of West Virginia.  WVOTA promotes occupational therapy as a valuable resource to meet the needs and improve the lives of West Virginians. We are a member-led association that provides advocacy to ensure professional strength, continuing education to ensure the quality of care, and support through scholarships to future occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants to support future growth.

The mission of the West Virginia Occupational Therapy Association (WVOTA) is to help support, protect, and advocate for the Occupational Therapy professionals who practice within this state. WVOTA also strives to support research standards of practice as established by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
