The West Virginia Occupational Therapy Association is a non-profit organization with volunteers that encompasses professionals within the community

Reimbursement is changing in Skilled Nursing Facilities on October 1, 2019, and practitioners must start preparing.

At last year's conference, AOTA's Debbie Amini shared information about this upcoming change and provided many resources to the practitioners in West Virginia.

Now, the time for the transition is only 1 month away. AOTA has many resources available to help therapists prepare for this transition and preserve the critical role Occupational Therapy serves in the care of our clients. Use the AOTA resources to make sure you are able to take an active role in this significant change.

Resources can be found here: (You don't have to be an AOTA member to access this page).

A Free Member Webinars About Preparing for the New Payment Model can be found here:

AOTA has several FREE webinars for members of AOTA.  WVOTA has worked with AOTA to negotiate a reduced price for the webinars for members of WVOTA.

Details will be sent out this week -- don't miss this opportunity to be prepared!
