The West Virginia Occupational Therapy Association is a non-profit organization with volunteers that encompasses professionals within the community

SB 273 with Occupational Therapy in it passed the whole House this morning Thursday March 8. Now it moves back to the SENATE. We don't want Occupational Therapy taken out again in the Senate. The vote to pass this bill will probably happen tomorrow Friday March 9 or it will go into a conference committee to iron out the difference between the HOUSE AND SENATE VERSIONS.

Please send emails or CALL your SENATOR and be sure they are aware that OT services need to stay in this bill.

You can simply say or write:

I am an Occupational Therapist/Assistant/Student.

Please keep Occupational Therapy in SB 273 (Opioid Reduction Bill) as one of the alternative treatments.
